I've tried to upload a couple of movies recently but since they're larger than the files I've done earlier, I can't seem to get anywhere with it. The advanced uploader doesn't seem very user friendly. I don't know what I'm doing. How do you get larger files to upload???

not sure ... but i think that the ccpublisher isnĀ“t supported anymore ... it stop working for me some years ago so i switched to an FTP Client instead

FileZilla is an pretty good freeware client
http://filezilla-project.org

Using the FTP upload here is easy ... just click on Upload and use the Advanced uploader for: files over 500 MB option
you need to provite the system with an appropriate item name and the system will create an folder on one of the IA server for you .. all you need to do now is to copy the FTP address into your FTP Client and enter your password
after your upload is finished you just have to check it in and fill out the form for it ....

How far into the process can you get? Which part is causing problems?

I got pages up but the files contain no content(search "The Manster" and "Night Fright" and you'll see what I mean.)I also tried using ccpublisher but could not get that to work. I read that ccpublisher works on Windows 2000 and Xp, and though I have Vista, I downloaded it anyway. It didn't say whether it would work on Vista or not. I have successfully uploaded files using the basic uploader on IA. I haven't given up yet.

Read k-otic's post. Be sure not to close the client until the upload is 100% complete.
